2010 Printable Calendar

I’m done with my printable 2010 Calendar.
I used free photoshop brushes downloaded from Brusheezy.

Thanks to guys donated brushes from that site.
Next on my list is to design our wedding invitation. It’s my time for me to doodle =D

4th and counting....

Earlier this morning I sat down in front of my computer, checking emails, chatting with friends, browsing jobs and other sites without realizing it’s my blog’s 4th Year.

After my breakfast, I returned again to stare at my blog for 5 minutes imagining the possible design. Scroll to the side panel, click on 2005 then look at the bottom of the page where lies my first post.

Darn! The camera, I’ve been using that for more than four years and now its lens won’t open. I badly need the camera today while I am still bum a.k.a jobless, unemployed.

The day I found out its broken, I was about to capture the most beautiful rainbow I ever saw just in front of our house much better than my first rainbow shot. Sayang!

Anyway, I’ll get a new one few months from now.

I’ve created this blog in 2003 but I was not an active blogger by that time. The first URL was http://pearloftheorientseas.blogspot.com then in 2006 I changed it to http://mystripesocks.blgospot.com.

I’ve created a simple anniversary banner for this post.

Chinatown!

This is my first trip to Chinatown. During the trip going there, I was craving for fried dumplings and a big bowl of soup.

The kalesa is still there even if the place is called Chinatown!

First we visited the Binondo Church then we ate in a neat Chinese restaurant - ate rice with seasoning with peanut toppings, squid balls soup and crab cake (ball?).

Next stop, ate the funny looking egg. They told me it’s a snake egg but I didn’t believe them. I think it’s an egg boiled in tea.

We’ve been running around the place from one store to the other buying lots of Chinese goodies. I bought HOPIA in UBE and MONGO flavor and siopao.

Lastly we had dumplings.

Probably my next trip will be with my mother.

Happy Birthday

All I wanted was a small gathering with my family.

I was looking forward for the day because it will be my last birthday being single.
Next year, I’ll be celebrating my birthday probably in a different way. =D

Night Market

We visited the night market in Antipolo for the first time to check out the cheapest finds and also researching on how to acquire a store. We wanted to try selling goods next year.

Last days

My work is done and looking for a new one.
I thought it’s not going to be sad leaving the place and the job itself.
It is really different than resigning except that you have cash in your pocket. I didn’t expect the amount that I received.

I’m listing the things I must do in the following days…
Rest.
Pray.
Open a new bank account.
Update Resume.
Apply for job online.
Finish my 2010 calendar.
A simple birthday.
Buy UPS and new keyboard and batteries for my camera.
Buy 2 sets of corporate clothes for job interviews and shoes.
Design my wedding invites.
Continue reading CCNA and have a certification by the end of the month.

Tweaking

It’s cold and raining in where I live. I decided to start with my Christmas Digital Project. I started with downloading images but after few minutes, I tweaked codes in blogger, tweaked with Adobe Lightroom and I couldn’t stop myself from editing.

In the end, I haven’t started the project. I will try again tomorrow.

Happy Planter

My zinnia’s are bearing flowers and I’m a happy planter =D
