The Mild Bump

I think no one will read this entry since the title is not that catchy. If I put the accident, others might read this but I don’t care hehehe. I don’t have much of traffic since I switched back to .blogspot.com and never seen My Highness commenting in here. Sigh… Anyway, I’ll return to my domain after I’ve finished all my tasks and I have my time on blogging again. I just jot all my posts in a word document for a while.

The mild bump means the slight accident I was into last Saturday. I was riding the mini shuttle and when was about to pullover when a van bumped behind the mini shuttle. Thank God the hit was not that bad but my brain was shaken and my neck and back felt beaten. I couldn’t think for a while. I went out of the vehicle and checked the back of it and it was like being hammered a million times.

Since I was a bit shaken, I was standing there and doing nothing and couldn’t think of getting another car to bring me to work. I just couldn’t think. A beautiful lady had asked me to come with her to work and then I was riding the taxi with her and she’s a stranger.

After less than 30 minutes talking to her I decided to ride another vehicle, said my thanks and got out of the car.

And when I was in the elevator I was thanking God that I’m still at work and safe and nothing happened to me except for mild body ache.

I had an option to be absent but since my partner is a bit fragile, I decided to be at work and I can still tolerate the pain. I didn’t mind the body ache because of the monitoring I’ve done and I forgot the pain. In other words I was busy but I was able to read the latest Naruto and Bleach Manga hehehe.

And that very night when I was about to lay my head on my pillow I’ve realized there’s something wrong with me - I have a very bad stiff neck. It’s a bit aching when I turn my head sideways and I feel so terrible when I turn my head upward and getting up – any motions against gravity and I couldn’t raise my voice higher than my usual voice.

My mom said to leave it for a few days but if it is aching I’m going to see a doctor.

Anyway, this little incident is nothing much than what happened to my sister. I shared it in here last year. If you want to ready my longest entry, GO AHEAD. Now I understand the pain and thankful that she’s not hurt.

I pray that accidents will never happen to anyone ever again... but it depends if you are hard headed one.

Please be safe.

Wedding-on-a-budget Pinoy Style – Wedding Gown

It’s been a while since my last update about Wedding-on-a-budget Pinoy Style. We’ve put that (wedding plans) aside for a while because we’re really busy with work and I’m hook to my sewing skills.

So before the bubble above my head disappears, I have to share with you what I’ve learned from reading Pinoy Wedding Blogs. So here’s about something about the Wedding Dress – Yahooo…

Last year, I’ve been imagining myself wearing a white gown with cute sleeves just like Tootsie Guevarra and Angelica Panganiban’s in the Teleserye Iisa Pa Lamang (I am not an avid Teleserye watcher it so happen that I’ve been hook when I saw the dress). I tried searching for them in the net but unable to find it.

Next, on our way to Batangas last January I saw a wedding magazine with the dress that I like (Nina Corpuz wedding dress). It’s simple and cute. My sister thinks it doesn’t suit me. The top part suits me but the lower part needs to be mended.

I put Nina Corpuz’s gown for a while. I decided to register in TheKnot and there so many gowns to choose from.

After choosing the gown, next is to look for a dressmaker.

The beauty in the Philippines there are lots of dressmakers. You can find the best dressmakers in the world in Divisoria. My sister sent me this wedding gown picture below which is made by a dressmaker in Divisoria and only asked her below Php 10, 000 (USD 200).

The picture above is from google images and the Divisoria gown is from my email.

Next, let’s talk about Barong Tagalog some other day. 

Missing

OLAH Amigas! Did you miss me? Of course you did.

I don’t have any update for you... err actually I did but I already forgot everything and I only have what I have now…

Anyways, we’re busy with lots of things at work and by the time I’m home the students are busy with school projects and papers so I have no time composing my updates in my computer because they’re using it. And there’s my sewing class during Fridays – haven’t finished with all required patterns but I’m beginning to sew my first pajama blouse and pants.

My sister entered another business venture; it’s called Cleanbiz Dishwashing Liquid by Mom Cares. We’re selling them for P30 (USD 0.62) only and refill is only P20 (USD 0.42). I made the logo and printed them in my Epson Printer. Almost half were sold so if you wish to buy then leave me a message here and we’ll deliver them to you.

Summer is here! I don’t plans on going somewhere refreshing unlike few years back when I was young and not saving for anything. But I have plans for the holy week and my pop is coming home and my sister’s first child birth.
